50's Diner in Baguio City

50's Diner in Baguio City is one of the restaurant around Baguio City . We ate at 50's diner because it was recommended to us by friends so we tried and see (or taste the food) it for ourselves.

50's Diner offers you the feel of the 1950's, The time were there are still Americans in Philippines, the time of jukebox instead of mp3's or live band, the time of rock and roll instead of pop musics. Their furniture and staff uniforms are also in 1950's era.
.
They don't have air condition unit, but who needs an A/C in Baguio City. The place can accommodate about 100++ persons, if it's full inside, you will end up eating outside (is it still dine-in?)

I've seen a lot of foreigners eating at 50's Diner maybe because of the food, they serve burgers, pasta and pizza. If you want to eat Filipino foods 50's Diner is not for you.
.
The servings are big for a reasonable price so it will surely satisfies your hunger, in fact my wife gave me the other half of her burger. Their pasta (Alfredo) taste okay but not that good and the noodles is overcooked.
.
50's Diner is located along Leonard Wood Road and about 5 minutes from Baguio Botanical Gardens.

I will recommend this not just because of the food but also for you to have a feel of the 50's era.

Strong point: Big serving, fruit shakes and nice ambiance
Weak point: Not all the food taste good

  1. Is 50's diner still in Abanao? The last time I ate there was in 2004. I thought they'd close the restaurant already?

  6. I agree w/ u.. the last time I've been there dated 13th Feb.'11 they serve overcooked (tustado na sunog) pork chop and Beef (tenderloin) even I told them to make it mediumrare they called it SHE package. Though I love the huge serving which is very affordable and the combination of variants but the prob is there way of cooking the food.
